Terms of use

Scope

These terms apply to the use of the app "Pixel Garage" by Niklas Albrecht, on iPhone and on Android. The purchase itself is concluded with the store you got the app from: with Apple through the App Store, with Google through Google Play. That store's terms apply in addition.

What you get

With your purchase you get one transformation: a photo becomes a pixel vehicle that lives on your device. The result depends on the photo you submit. If a transformation fails, you can try again within the number of attempts stated in the app, without paying again.

Your photos

Only use photos you hold the rights to. Do not upload images that infringe the rights of others or break the law.

Availability

The transformation needs an internet connection and a service we buy in. We aim for availability but cannot guarantee it continuously. A vehicle you already created keeps working without internet.

Refunds

A refund runs through the store you bought from. For App Store purchases, Apple's process applies (reportaproblem.apple.com). For Google Play purchases, Google's process applies (play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory). Please turn to them for a refund — we cannot reverse a purchase ourselves.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Changes

We may change these terms where there is an objective reason to do so. The version in force is always the one on this page.
